Hi, I'm Andy Schwab, and I was born a geek.
Background
As a Broadcast Journalist in the New Hampshire Army National Guard, I've had the opportunity to see many communication styles in action. I've had the opportunity to train at the Defense Information School, worked under the guidence of seasoned military journalists, and faced the challenge of distributing information through a mindboggling bureaucracy. Together, these experiences have given me a great appreciation for concise presentations and clear dialogue.
Education
I completed my Associates Degree in Computer Engineering from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in 2007. I'm currently working towards my Computer Information Systems degree from the University of New Hampshire, and I expect to be finished next spring.
I've enjoyed tinkering with my own website and BBS (for those who remember them) since I was a kid. The ability to instantly share information with people anywhere has always fascinated me, and I've enjoyed getting to combine my education and my passions.
Vision
I believe that, while the tools may change, the principles of communication stay the same. At Schwab Communications, we combine technical understanding with fundamental communication principles, creating truly functional web designs. The websites we build should feel transparent to the viewer, drawing them to your content and communicating your message.
